About the event

The Buffalo Niagara International Airport Fire Department is the Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) team. They provide fire rescue services to the airport, its employees, passengers and the surrounding communities responding to a variety of incidents including aircraft and structural fires, medical emergencies, fuel spills and more. These firefighters attend the New York State Fire Academy and are trained to FAA basic fire fighter standards and receive both New York State Municipal Firefighters Certification and National Certifications. The address of the ARFF is: 120 Amherst Villa Rd, Buffalo NY. Ring the doorbell at the door next to the flagpole (visitors must be escorted). It’s not hard to locate, but your GPS map makes it much easier if you’ve never been there before.
